Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic lung disorder that results in scarring, or fibrosis, of the lungs.  IPF is a specific type of pulmonary fibrosis in which the small air sacs of the lung, known as "alveoli", gradually become replaced by fibrotic (scar) tissue.
